To answer the Rs 60 quiz
What actually happened
Friends paid: ₹60 total
Shopkeeper returns: ₹10
₹6 goes back to friends (₹2 each)
₹4 kept by the delivery person (rickshaw)
So final distribution:
Shopkeeper keeps: ₹50
Delivery person keeps: ₹4
Friends get back: ₹6
Total:
50 + 4 + 6 = 60 ✔️
Where the confusion happens
You said:
18 × 3 = 54, then + 4 = 58
The mistake is here 👇
₹18 each × 3 = ₹54
👉 This already includes the ₹4 taken by the delivery person.
Because:
₹54 = ₹50 (shopkeeper) + ₹4 (delivery person)
So when you do:
54 + 4
You are adding the ₹4 twice ❌
Correct way to think
Instead of adding ₹4, you should split ₹54:
₹54 = ₹50 (shopkeeper) + ₹4 (delivery guy)
And the remaining ₹6 already went back to friends.
